Who we are
It was established in August, 2008 G.C on 53,495 square meters of land
In Ethiopia, Oromia regional state, Adama (Nazreth) town. As a part of
forward integration, the factory has established a medical textile plant
with the name of Nazmed medical textile in the year 2020 G.C. and
started producing surgical gauze for the purpose of substituting import
of similar products.
We have young & dedicated employees and visionary management. So
far, We created a direct job opportunity for about 450 employees. The
company has planned to undertake a forward and backward integration
project to be realized in the near future.

The virtue of its location has the advantage of Getting enough electric power supply, proximity to cotton growing areas, availability of abundant labor, basic infrastructure of water supply, easy access to Addis Ababa-Djibouti road and rail way, Schools, hospitals and other infrastructural facilities.

Technology & Infrastructure
The spinning plant is well equipped with a state of the art technology
sourced from well-known and reliable Switzerland companies; RIETER
machine works LTD and LUWA air engineering. The winding machines are
supplied from MURATA of japan and equipped with USTER QUANTUM 2 and 3
yarn cleaner. The physical laboratory is facilitated with a high tech
lab equipments supplied by MESNDAN of ITALY.
NazMed Medical Textiles
It is one of the most commonly used medical supplies in the area of
health care facilities, such as hospitals, health centers, clinics etc.
Its main purpose is to clean and cover wounds during surgery and
accidental wounds treatment activities. Surgical gauze can be produced
from 100% cotton material and made available to the medical market in
the form of rolls or swabs being sterile or Unsterilized product. Four
plies Unsterilized gauze rolls, with 90cm X 100m size are widely
available in the market to be cut in to the required sizes and
sterilized for final use.
